elaborately designed, with an applied paper envelope containing a hand coloured lithographed flower and painted paper flowers and a hand written verse - The posie..it may fly..But my love for thee can fade not nor die - 8½in. 22cm. high, English circa 1850; an Esther Howland paper lace card with a cameo of Venus set against a roundel of a mirror, opening to reveal a verse entitled Constancy - circa 1850; a George Mansell paper lace card entitled Love and Hope with an applied paper garland and curtains with gilded edges; a hand coloured roundel of a lady with hand painted detail - circa 1840; a paper lace card with a Dresden gilded cherub and original envelope; and a Mansell hand lithographed card of a girl with a valentine,For my little pet (6)
