A verte Imari fluted slightly flaring cylindrical jardiniere with mythical beast head handles, painted and gilt with sprays of peonies and chrysanthemums within bands of floral cartouches on geometric grounds, the interior with a single peony spray -- 8¾in. (22.2cms) diam, 18th century, (rim chip, crack to base).
