An early 20th Century small full size single cylinder horizontal stationary engine the wooden plinth with brass plate embossed Horizontal Steam Engine 1902 by Massey and Warner with brass bound wood lagged cylinder 2in. bore x 3in. stroke, cylinder and valve chest drain cocks, main stop valve (later), studded stuffing boxes, bar type crosshead guides, barrelled connecting rod, eccentric driven feed pump with bleed valve, counterbalanced crank shaft with disk pulley and spoked flywheel, the pedestal bearings with oil pots with level glasses, cast bed, finished in green and polished brightwork -- 12 x 22in.
