A well engineered 3in. scale model of the Burrell Single Cylinder Three Shaft Agricultural Traction Engine 'Bill', overhauled 1982 by H.R. Plaistow, with brazed copper boiler, with water gauge, shut-off cocks, pressure gauge, safety, blower, injector, waterlift, whistle and clack valves. Chassis details include cylinder 2in. bore x 2¼in. stroke, footplate controlled draincocks and pipes, mechanical lubricator, Stephenson's link reverse, wedged and bolted big end, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass, two road speeds, belt driven Pickering governor, crankshaft bearing oil pots and spoked flywheel. Chassis details include spoked straked wheels, brass hub caps, worm and roller chain steering, damper, cable drum, cable and fairleads, injector, waterlift and suction pipe, whistle and hand operated band brake, finished in maroon, green and black with yellow and red lining and polished brightwork -- 29¼ x 44in.
