Lot Essay

The propeller boss was given to the vendor by 2nd Lt J.W. Parnell who was the pilot of the FE 2G aircraft which was damaged by ground fire during the bombing of the Zeppelin shed at Gontrode, Belgium, during the night of 30th September 1917
