A scrapbook compiled by F.W. Dixon of newspaper cuttings chronicling his triumphs (and disasters) from 22nd August 1932 to 22nd June 1937 with annotations in his own hand including a passage underlined in red pencil "But for a motorist of international reputation to be publicly censored in this way is unprecedented" referring to the Brooklands Easter meeting in 1935 where Dixon in victoriously continued around the track after the finish of the race, 68 pages, folio size with board covers; and another scrapbook with various cuttings from 10th September 1919 to 3rd Novemeber 1938, predominatly of his motorcycling days and with approximately 100 photographs including some of the "Silver Bullet", his land speed record hopeful, 64 pages (some blank), folio size with board covers (2)
