Jérome Bonaparte (1784-1860) king of Westphalia and brother to Napoleon. He was given a high military command by Napoleon in the Prussian campaign of 1806, incurred his brother's displeasure during the invasion of Russia in 1812, but fought with tenacity at Waterloo. He was the sovereign of Westphalia from July 1807 to October 1813, marrying Pricess Catherine of Wurttemberg in August 1807.
