A large Korean eight fold screen painted in ink and colour on silk with scenes of warriors on foot and horseback in mountainous pine strewn regions, variously charging, firing arrows, some engaging in battle across a river, others at an encampment and before a pavilion among clouds, the border panels with archaic style calligraphy -- each painted section 47 5/8in. x 12¾in. (121cms x 32.2cms), Choson Dynasty, 19th century, (old wear).
