signed on the stand Smith, Beck & Beck, 31 Cornhill London, No. 3561, with rack and pinion focussing (defective), micrometer fine adjustment, mechanical stage, the body limb raised on two tapering columns arranged to rotate on the tripod stand, with mounting for sub-stage condenser and plano-concave mirror, with additional monocular body tube, in mahogany case, with swing carrying handle -- 19¾in. (50.2cm.) high; and a monocular microscope by Henry Crouch, No. 3414, with some accessories, in mahogany case -- 13¾in. (35cm.) high (2)
