applied with gilt-metal mounts, the recessed rectangular top inset with black leather writing surface bordered by scrolling foliate tendrils, the similarly-panelled frieze fitted with three drawers with three further drawers to each pedestal, the panelled sides centred with a foliate mount, on plinth base- 48in. (122cm.) wide, 29¼in. (74cm.) high, 29in. (73.5cm.) deep
