painted with sprays of wild flowers including poppies, wild roses and buttercups within gilt wells with raised seeds, the border impressed with a vermicular pattern and pierced with a rice grain pattern roundels, pattern G3211, impressed marks, puce globe marks incorperating retailer's mark for Mortlock, year cyphers for 1879 (one plate cracked, very minor wear) -- 24.5cm. diam.
