A Meissen model of bolognese terrier
after an original by Kändler, modelled seated to the left, the long coat enriched in shades of brown, blue crossed swords mark, incised 2880, Pressnummer 46, late 19th century (probably outside decorated, damages, restoration and firing faults) -- 23cm. high; and a companion Samson model of a terrier, facing right, it's coat enriched in grey (damages and old restoration) -- 19.5cm. high
