Kawase Hasui, oban yoko-e a print entitled 'Sakusada-mon (gate), Tokyo' depicting a nocturnal scene with a figure standing on the balcony of a gate house beside a river, pine trees silhouetted in the background, pencil signed and inscribed; and a further Hasui print with mountain peaks at sunset viewed from the balcony and interior of a pavilion with a lacquer tray and kettle in the foreground.
