A Chinese hardwood ruyi sceptre inset with three mottled celadon and russet jade plaques variously carved with landscape scenes of a recumbent horned beast beneath pine, a stork beneath pine and ruyi fungus beneath bamboo -- 18¼in. (46.3cm) long.
