A large Tibetan gilt-bronze pierced circular box and cover
inset in turquoise and other stones, the central roundel depicting a seated multi-armed deity before foliage and above an acolyte and a mythical animal within a band of sanscrit characters interspersed with flowerheads, all surrounded by quatrefoil cartouches containing mythical lions and dragons, all on a gilt ground incised with scrolling foliage, the base and similarly decorated -- 14.in (35.5cm) diam, 17th/18th Century, (slight old wear and minor dent).
