A large kakemono in sumi, colour and gilt on silk depicting a Buddha seated in dhyanasanna among cloud scrolls on a raised lotus petal base, the figure wearing elaborate jewelled robes and seated before a Buddhistic lion and two accolytes -- 55½in. x 25½in. (141cms x 64.7cms), (creasing, some worming and soiling), framed and glazed.
