A famille rose export egg shell porcelain teabowl and saucer painted with a design after Cornelius Pronk depicting three sages seated in a garden beneath a blossoming tree, a table with a blue and white porcelain bowl before them, two of the figures holding fish, a peacock in the background looking up at a parokeet on a branch of the tree, the cup similarly decorated and with two exotic fish cartouches to the interior alternating with geometric cartouches -- the saucer 4½in.
