Born in Sochi. In 1940 he graduated from the Institute of Kharkov, Ukraine. Magmedov has been a Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1957. Many works are included in the Art Museum of Sumee, State Art Gallery of Poltava and Art Museum of Kharkov.
