Titov graduated from Vhutein in 1928 under N. Kupreyanov. During 1936-39 he studied at the Moscow Institute of Fine Arts attached to the Academy of Art of Russia. A Merited Artist of Russia, his works are held in the Tretyakov Gallery, Central Museum of History and other museums.
