Decorated with crossbanded satinwood fan roundels and conch-shell oval medallions, the broken swan neck cresting with pierced fret-work above a dentil-moulded cornice, with a pair of panelled doors enclosing shelves and pigeon holes, above two candle slides, the sloping fall enclosing a leather-lined writing surface and a fitted interior of short drawers and pigeon holes, with two short and three long graduated drawers below, on bracket feet
