A Persian lacquered rectangular mirror case and hinged cover, painted to the interior with a kneeling prince before an archway, the exterior with the gul-o-bulbul design within foliate borders -- 4in. (10.2cms) long; another larger similarly decorated -- 11¼in. (28.5cms) long; and a qalamdan with further gul-o-bulbul decoration -- 8¾in. (22.2cms) long.
