A Kashan oblong octagonal tile decorated and moulded in relief in ochre, blue and lustre glazes with a line of calligraphy on a ground of dense scrolling flowers and leaves, all within a border of stylised kufic -- 14½in. (37cm.) wide, 13th/14th Century, (restored.)
