A Kashan deep bowl with inverted flattened rim, widely flaring sides and short foot, painted in blue, black and cream to the interior with a central rosette below teardrop and foliate motifs and a band of stylised scrolls, the exterior with vertical bands and sprays of leaves -- 10in. (25.5cm.) diam, 13th/14th Century.
