A crazy patchwork coverlet comprised of forty-two squares, with patches of velvet, silk and silk brocade all edged in multi-coloured herringbone stitch, many embroidered in coloured silks with flowers, butterflies, insects and fruit, dated in one patch 1896, edged with cord and backed with rust satin--107 x 140cm.
