the waisted pediment surmounted by a figure of Chronos, with cherubs holding artistic attributes to each corner below, the case with bowed sides on winged caryatid supports, with foliate relief mount to the glazed front door, above integral plinth with foliate cast toupie feet, the dial with individual white enamel Roman cartouche chapters and plaque signed THURET PARIS, engraved outside minutes, the later twin going barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell -- 39½in. (100cm.) high; and the wall bracket en suite -- 15¼in. (39cm.) high
