Two Ming ochre and green glazed pottery models of equestrian riders, each seated on a saddled horse standing four-square on a rectangular base, the figures wearing tunics tied at the waist and tassled hats, one holding cymbols, the other a horse whip, traces of blue, red and black pigments remaining -- 15¼in. (38.5cm.) and 15¾in. (40cm.) high, 16th/17th Century, (some areas of repainting and restoration.)
