a patinated, gilded bronze and ivory figure, cast and carved from a model by Demetre Chiparus, of a female dancer wearing long flared skirt with beaded waistband and waistcoat, poised on tiptoe with other knee raised and arms raised in posture of dance, on a stepped rectangular section brown onyx base decorated with green 'sun' rays, signed in the bronze (one hand reglued) -- 61cm. high
