An early 19th Century eight-day marine chronometer the silvered dial unsigned, Roman hour numerals, outer minute chapter with five minute intermarkers 60 -- 5 -- 10 etc, gold hour minute hands, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials with blued steel hands, full plate movement, Earnshaw escapement, cut bi-metallic Z balance mounted within the frames, blued steel helical balance spring, polished steel ballustrade pillars, brass bowl with Barrand type butterfly winding assembly, inlater gimbal and brass-bound three-tier mahogany box, dial dia -- 6in.
