An exhibition standard ¾ in:1ft scale model of the Dover Galley 'Princess' of circa 1880
built by R. Phillips from his own researches with clinker built hull of individually cut planks and frames, bottom boards, foot rests, thwarts and rowlocks for five oarsmen, rudder and yoke ropes, collapsible mast and fenders, finished in varnish and mounted on a mahogany stand with five oars and boathook. Display base with legend. Measurements overall -- 4½ x 24 (11.5 x 61cm.) Certificate and historical data.
