This early example of the 'Scraphito' range features a simple pattern in 'Applique' powder blue teamed with coral red. The same decoration is known from a Grotesque face mask and an Elephant napkin ring, suggesting a range of shapes were produced in this. The hand-painted mark, and careful decoration, indicates this vase was a sample
