This piece combines Clarice's mid Twenties Duck figure with a 'Leda' shape plate decorated in Wilkinson's pattern number 8481, of printed and enamelled flowers. It was probably the original version of the more commonly seen Newport Pottery 'Duck Egg set' which has a smaller more practical dish for the egg cups
