The March Of Time was a monthly screen magazine launched by Time Inc. in 1935. Each item ran for fifteen to twenty-five minutes and preceeded feature attractions. It adopted a one-story-an-issue format which enabled the makers to probe deep into important stories and as early as 1935 took an outspoken stand against fascism. The series ended in 1951, a victim of television news coverage. Only a handful of posters are known to exist for any of these series.
