A lithographic fan signed Alexandre David, with ormolu guardsticks, the leaf with figures playing blind man's buff and two smaller vignettes of a lady painting and another playing the mandolin, the reserves with Etruscan vases, the verso with figures in a landscape, one child in Hussar dress, the reserves with a Gothik screen with portraits of six ladies, the mother of pearl sticks pierced and gilt, the guardsticks worked with vines and flowers issuing from urns, mounted against purple velvet, the handle decorated with a crane from which hangs a chain with flask decorated with green glass beads - 11in. (28cm.), circa 1845
