A fine Cantonese fan, the leaf painted with five interiors with figures, their faces of ivory, their clothes of silk, the verso with figures on terraces, some dressed in yellow, the ivory sticks carved and pierced with figures and buildings, the guardsticks carved in high relief with figures, gazebos and flowers, the leaf edged with feathers, with pink and green silk tassels hung from the gilt metal and filigree handle - 11in.
