A large famille rose export punch bowl painted and gilt with shaped panels of figures at leisure on terraces overlooking river landscapes and in pine strewn, rocky gardens, further cartouches of birds on blossoming branches on a grisaille geometric ground, the interior with a central cluster of fruit and flowersprays within a borders of trailing bamboo leaves -- 15¾in. (40cms) diam, 18th century.
