The following three lots were the property of Lady Margaret Hope, 1772-1829, daughter of the third Earl of Hopetoun, she married Alexander Maclean of Ardgour in 1795 and had thirteen children.

comprising a silk gauze sleeveless under-dress with frogging, hand-made buttons, long gathered skirt and linen back, a pair of red wool Shalwar trousers, a striped silk and linen waistcoat with black frogging lined in coarse linen, a mauve and white striped silk surcoat with maroon frogging at neck and sleeves, the bodice lined with linen and a plum wool surcoat with arm and side slits, edged with black silk braid, the yoke lined in fine linen
