A well engineered model of Prof. Realieux's trapezium connecting rod engine,
built by A. Mount from details published circa 1890 with single cylinder 7/8in. bore x 1½in. stroke mounted on two semi-circular frames, the crossheads running in vertical side frames mounted above the cylinder, the barrelled connecting rods in the form of a trapezium encompassing the cylinder, the crankshaft mounted in two bearings with in-board mounted spoked flywheel, finished in maroon, white and polished brightwork, wooden plinth -- 12 x 11¼in. (30.5 x 28.5cm.)
