A well engineered model of W.A. Comber's Rotary Engine of circa 1896 driving an open-frame dynamo,
built by J. Phillips, the engine with wood lagged cylinder ¾in. stroke, pedestal mounted bearings, valve chest with lubricator, rope driven governor, linkage and valve, spoked flywheel and spoked pulley with triple rope drive to dynamo, finished in grey and polished brightwork, wood mount -- 9½ x 12½in. (24.2 x 31.7cm.)
