signed TULLEY and MILLS, LONDON on the back plate, the 61½in. (153.7cm.) long body-tube with lens cap, rack and pinion focusing, supported with axis by two vertical tapering pillars with vase finials, the steadying bar with rack and pinion adjustment, mounted on a 13in. (33cm.) diameter turn-table on carved mahogany tripod stand incorporating a brass compass, the dial signed DUNN EDINR and fitted with a universal bubble level, the cabriole legs terminating in rectangular supports fitted with castors
