signed on the silvered dial Balbreck ainé a Paris, the circle divided in four quadrants, the needle with jewelled cap on pivot, with clamp (defective), the alidade with two verniers and two fixed sights rotating over the 9¼in. (33.5cm.) diameter horizontal circle, with engraved scale, two fixed sights and bubble level, on staff mounting with locking wing-nut
