signed on the stand Smith & Beck, 6 Coleman Street, London, No. 764, with rack and pinion focusing, fine adjustment by lever lift to the eyepiece, sliding mechanical stage with rack adjustment, sub-stage condenser and plano-concave mirror, the body limb raised on a tapering pillar support from the Y-shaped stand, with 4/10, 1/5, 1½in. objectives by Smith & Beck, three eyepieces, polarizer, bull's-eye condenser, abbe condenser and other accessories, in fitted mahogany case -- 16¾in. (42.5cm.) wide
