A South German inlaid table cabinet, 17th century, possibly Nuremburg
the case decorated with foliage and strapwork with carrying handles to the sides, the interior fitted with an arrangement of seven drawers about a cupboard door, inlaid with town scenes, the door enclosing a removable interior, fitted with two visible short drawers above an open compartment and fitted to the reverse with four secret drawers -- 16½in. (42cm.) wide, 13in. (33cm.) high, 11½in. (29cm.) deep
