Provenance
This and the following five lots were collected by an ancestor of the vendor who worked for the London textiles firm of J. G. Crace and Son in the late 19th/early 20th century.

Lot Essay

The label also states that this fabric can be made by the textile manufacturers Warners in 1895, and that it was used for the drawing room walls of the Mercers Hall in 1881.
