AN ATTIC WHITE GROUND POTTERY LEKYTHOS, with central panel of black-figure decoration comprising a band of ivy trail flanked by chequered bands, a band of meander above, rays around the shoulder -- 7 1/8in. (18.1cm.) high; an Attic red-figure squat lekythos, with figure of running young woman looking back over her shoulder, she wears chiton and himation, reserved ground line below -- 4½in. (11.3cm.) high; a similar oinochoe, with frontal panel showing a child playing with a hound -- 4¼in. (10.8cm.) high; an Attic lekythos, the body black glazed with entwined lotus buds around the shoulder on red ground -- 5½in. (14cm.) high, all 5th Century B.C.; a black-figure lekythos, showing a warrior and lion wrestling, possibly a representation of Herakles and the Nemean lion, neck and handle missing -- 4in. (10.1cm.) high, late 6th Century B.C.; and a Geometric lekythos, the biconical body tapering into neck with trefoil mouth, high arching handle, decorated with black painted geometric decoration, the body with registers of meander and dots, vertical zigzags around the neck -- 4¾in. (12cm.) high, 725-700 B.C., all mainly repaired with restoration (6)
