A TARENTINE TERRACOTTA HEAD OF DIONYSOS, the bearded god wearing a headband and stephane decorated with a large rosette in the centre, with broad ribbons hanging down on his shoulders to either side -- 4¾in. (12cm.) high, late 5th Century B.C.; another head of Dionysos, similar, with beard protruding forwards -- 4in. (10.2cm.) high, mid-5th Century B.C.; a Hellenistic head of a woman wearing a broad twisted headband, repaired -- 2½in. (6.3cm.) high; and another, wearing rimmed headdress -- 1½in. (3.8cm.) high, both 2nd Century B.C., all mounted (4)
