(19.3cm.) long, late 3rd millennium B.C.; and a large group of Luristan bronzes, including a leaf-shaped spearhead, the flattened midrib extending into shouldered tang, with projecting tapered spike -- 15in. (38.1cm.) long; a shafted macehead, the ribbed shaft with swelling at top with six projecting knobs, mounted -- 3¾in. (9.5cm.) high; a large adze, the tubular shaft with projecting knobs and herringbone pattern, mounted -- 6½in. (16.5cm.) across; a pair of penannular armlets with alternating bands of incised chevron and hatched decoration -- both 4 5/8in.
