A pair of mallet vases with foliate rims, lobed bodies and scrollwork feet, painted and gilt with chrysanthemums above key-fret bands and lappet shaped panels of stylised lotus flowers, all within borders of elongated leaves, demi-florets and scrolling foliage -- 7in. (17.8cm.) high, signed, (one with chip to rim, the other with foot broken and restuck).
