A baluster jar and cover with knop finial painted and gilt with a continuous scene depicting a procession of figures on horseback and on foot travelling towards retreats in a mountainous landscape, numerous fishermen in boats and further figures on foot visible among trees and rockwork in the distance, all below trailing wisteria around the shoulder, the neck and cover with floral roundels on a dense flowerhead ground -- 9¾in.
