HARD COURT CHAMPIONSHIPS, BOURNEMOUTH 1931, 1932 & 1936. Two 9ct. gold medals by Messrs. Fattorini & Sons of Bradford, awarded to the winners of the Mixed Doubles at the Lawn Tennis Hard Court Championships, Bournemouth in 1931 and 1936, the obverse showing the figure of Merit kneeling before a tennis net, the reverse with legend: "The Lawn Tennis Hard Court Championships of Great Britain" surrounding the engraved inscription: "1931 Mixed Doubles Champions F. J. Perry, Miss M. Heeley" and "1936 Mixed Doubles Winners Miss D. E. Round, F. J. Perry," 38mm. (1½in.) diam. With a similar gold medal awarded to the winners of the Men's Doubles in 1932 (F. J. Perry & J. S. Olliff). (3)
