Globus Coeleftis in quo omnes Afterismi accurate delineati cura et impenfis Mathaei Seutteri Chalcogr. Auguft [ca. 1710]
A 7½-inch (19cm.) diameter celestial globe, made up of twelve hand coloured engraved paper gores, with polar calottes, the constellations represented by mythical beasts, figures, scientific instruments and marine subjects, the stars represented by magnitude, with associated chart, the maker's dedication in cartouche, the celestial equator and ecliptic divided in degrees, the gores laid on wood (old surface abrasions, some scratching and dirt, no axis pin or mounting)
